From Crippling Knee Pain to Coaching 600+ Athletes Back to Sport.
Hey, I’m Sam. I grew up in Australia, obsessed with basketball. By my teens, I was playing at a semi-professional level - until one day, my knees started screaming.
First came Osgood Schlatter’s, then Patella Tendon pain (AKA Jumper’s Knee) that refused to go away. I did everything the experts told me to do: PRP injections, ice, rest, physio exercises, even sat out entire seasons.
Nothing worked. Every sprint, every jump, every landing felt like punishment.
I was frustrated, burnt out, and scared I’d never play pain-free again.
While studying physiotherapy at university, I reached a breaking point. I decided to stop outsourcing my recovery and take full control. I poured over research, tested protocols on myself, and slowly built a system rooted in science-based strength and loading principles.
Not only did I rehab my knees—I came back better than I ever had before.
That system became the foundation of what I now teach to my clients all over the world.
In 2024, I launched @SamuelRehab to share my tendon program with the world. Today, it’s helped over 600 athletes - from weekend warriors to elite performers - overcome patella tendon pain and get back to doing what they love.
