I remember feeling the exact same way when I first experienced tendon pain…

I’d turn up to basketball training looking and feeling like I was 80 years old…

After 6 months of pain, I decided to give up.

My dream of playing professional Australian Basketball was over.

I couldn’t take it anymore.

I wasn’t performing how I used to.

I was slow.

I couldn’t even do a layup without feeling like someone stabbed my knee.

So I took matters into my own hands and went to get a surgical opinion.

“This is the worst tendon we’ve ever seen” said the surgeon, looking concerned.

“We need to operate as soon as possible”.

Again, I felt cheated…

Why were all my friends able to have well functioning knees, whilst I had to get a $7,000 tendon surgery?
